At present, the problem of improving the effectiveness of correctional work with preschool children with delayed speech development remains urgent. Effective correction is a prerequisite for the successful adaptation of children and compliance with the Federal State Educational Standard of preschool education.

In this regard, the inclusion of non-traditional methods in the program of corrective action is becoming increasingly relevant. To achieve the highest results of speech therapy practice, such methods of work as kinesiotherapy, cryotherapy, fairy tale therapy, sand therapy, krupotherapy, isotherapy, hippotherapy, music therapy, bibliotherapy, etc. are used.

One of the most effective methods of non-traditional influence for the correction of preschool children's SPD is Su-Jok therapy, which develops fine motor skills of the hands, hand praxis, tactile sensitivity and, accordingly, gnostic abilities, increases the tone of the muscles of the fingers and the energy level of the whole organism. All these processes have a positive effect on the development of certain areas of the central nervous system, including speech centers, which leads to effective correction of speech disorders.

In the correctional work, a Su Jok massage ball is used, which includes a hedgehog massage ball and two metal elastic massage rings.

Su -jok therapy, as a method, was developed by Professor Park Jae-woo of Seoul National University at the end of the twentieth century. Translated from Korean, "su" is a brush, "jock" is a foot. The method is based on a system of similarity (correspondence) of the hands and feet to the human body. So the thumb is like the head and neck, the index finger and little finger correspond to the hands, the middle and ring fingers correspond to the legs, and projections of the chest and abdominal organs are located on the palm, on the back of the hand – the back and spine.

Hand and foot matching systems, according to the author, "are human health control panels." By identifying the right points in the matching systems, you can develop the speech sphere of the child. Indeed, the speech and intellectual development of a person depends on how well the subtle movements of the brushes are developed. Therefore, elements of Su-Jok therapy are widely used as non-traditional methods by speech therapists, speech pathologists and other specialists working in the field of preschool education.

It is effective to use the techniques of Su-Jok therapy as a massage for delayed speech development, dysarthria, dyslalia, for the development of fine motor skills, as well as for the purpose of general strengthening of the body. Su-Jok therapy allows you to influence biologically active points according to the Su-Jok system; stimulate the speech zones of the cerebral cortex; normalize muscle tone (which is especially important for children with various motor disorders, cerebral palsy, MMD, ADHD); activate interhemispheric interaction, synchronize the work of both hemispheres of the brain; stimulate the speech areas in the cerebral cortex; increase the energy level of the child, develop tactile sensitivity; develop the cognitive and emotional-volitional spheres of the child.

Massage of biologically active zones located on the palm is carried out with a special ball with spikes, has a stimulating effect on the whole body as a whole, and on the organs of articulation in particular. Self-massage with an elastic massage ring promotes the development of fine motor skills. And the use of instructions in the form of a poetic text enhances a positive emotional mood and increases motivation.

Thus, the massage of the hands with a Su-Jok ball massager has a stimulating effect on the entire body of the child, but especially directly improves microcirculation, trophic, as well as increases the tone of the muscles of the hand, improves fine motor skills, increases the sensitivity of the limbs of speech therapists. The procedure activates interhemispheric interaction, synchronizes the work of the left and right hemispheres of the brain. Taken together, these effects are a powerful stimulus for the child's speech development.
