The Russian economy is currently in a deep crisis situation. Financial instability, instability in the labor market, forced cuts, and much more put most citizens in a difficult position. Often, the family of a student, especially those studying in another city, is not able to take on their expenses, and sometimes even financially support them.

Minimal financial assistance from parents and the small amount of the scholarship received encourages the student to search for funds for life support – to find a job. However, the Russian labor market offers enough vacancies with a special, student-friendly schedule-clothing store managers, couriers, online consultants, phone support operators, and much more.

Having a job implies achieving financial well-being. Subjective well-being includes emotional comfort, which is directly related to the self-attitude of the individual.

The problem of formation and development of self-attitude and its connection with subjective well-being is especially relevant in adolescence. It is during this period that rather high requirements are imposed on the individual, dictated by the special social situation of his life. It becomes necessary to define the attitude to the world as a whole, to society, and focus on goals and means to achieve them in the future.

For any person, it is desirable to have a stable positive self-attitude that does not exclude reasonable self-criticism and promotes constant self-improvement of the individual, which corresponds to the current needs of youth, allows you to successfully adapt to new conditions of life and activity, and be included in the educational process.

The study consisted of several stages. The first stage was a theoretical analysis of the literature on the research topic. The following Russian scientists were engaged in the study of personal self-attitude: S. R. Panteleev, S. L. Rubinstein, V. V. Stolin, D. I. Feldstein. As for foreign scientists, we can mention the works of R. burns, W. James, and K. Rogers.

At the next stage, we conducted an empirical study of the features of self-assessment of working students. The study involved 120 students aged 20-23 years. The following methods were used:" self-attitude research Methodology "by S. R. Pantileev," Motivational and self-assessment questionnaire "by V. A. Zobkov," self-Actualization test "by E. Shostrom (adaptation by Yu.E. Aleshin, L. Ya. Gozman, M. V. Zagika, M. V. Kroz)," self-attitude Questionnaire " by V. V. Stolin, S. R. Pantileev.

The method "Motivational self-assessment questionnaire" by V. A. Zobkov allows us to conclude that both working and non-working students are equally characterized by adequate self-esteem (80% and 75%, respectively); a smaller percentage of representatives of both samples are characterized by inadequately inflated self-esteem; a larger number of students are characterized by inadequately low self-esteem.

Consequently, students who do not have a job are more likely to have an inadequately low self-esteem than working students.

The results obtained by the method of self-attitude research of S. R. Pantileev lead to the conclusion that working students are more closed, cautious in providing meaningful information, more confident in themselves and their actions, better aware of responsibility for their own fate, easier to accept themselves with all the features, less likely to experience negative emotions in their address if they realize any of their own shortcomings and make mistakes.

"Self-actualization test" by E. Kostroma revealed the following features of working students: they differ in the presentation of life a complete, ability to live in the present moment naklonost to fatalism, greater propensity to take responsibility for their actions, destiny and less dependent on the opinions of others, focused on self-actualization, adaptability to changes, more prone to reflection, accept yourself, regardless of the assessment of their advantages and disadvantages, tend to the integral perception of oneself and the world, more successful in establishing contacts, seeking to develop and acquire new knowledge.

The results of the "self-attitude Questionnaire" methodology By V. V. Stolin and S. R. Pantileev helped to identify the characteristics of students who have a job. Students less dependent on the opinions of others, but at the same time, more confident in a positive attitude towards them, are more confident in that are of interest to others, close and interesting to themselves, are confident in themselves and their actions, are inclined to accept their shortcomings, they tend to self-organization and the desire to predict their actions, prone to introspection and understanding one's own feelings, emotions.

Based on the results of the study, we can conclude that the hypothesis of the study is confirmed – working students have a number of characteristic features of self-attitude. A student who has a job is a confident person who accepts his / her shortcomings, does not depend on the opinions of others, is able to take responsibility for his / her own, has a high level of self-organization, adaptation, reflection, and successfully establishes contacts with himself / herself and others.
