IT Field is rapidly developing. Currently IT-specialist are in demand at the labor market and their job is well-paid and the career opportunities are growing.

Young people choose IT –related majors when they go to university, but they can’t find a jog after graduating. Having received the degree, most often they are dissatisfied with their diploma.

The quality and level of training of students at universities are the basis for the successful functioning of the education system. At the higher education level, emphasis is given on improving the standards of computer science and IT education.

Now the country does not have enough teachers-practitioners in this field. Potential teachers are stopped by low wages, which do not justify the efforts of a specialist. In addition, the teacher must have certain personality traits. Most IT professionals cannot work as teachers. Because they understand numbers, codes, and computers very well, but it is much more difficult for them to communicate with people. Therefore, people who are far from the real technological field often teach at universities.

Many of them are not professional developers or owners of" digital" businesses, or even just active participants in the IT community. They can't explain some modern concepts and principles to students, because they don't understand them themselves.

The curriculum of educational establishments will never catch up with technological progress. Something new appears almost every month. While the students are studying at university according to the curriculum, everything will become outdated. As a result, graduates will have to learn all over again.

The use of information technologies in the educational process improves the quality of training of future specialists. Unfortunately, not all universities can afford modern equipment. As a result, there is very little practice and it is carried out on outdated equipment. Theoretical knowledge in university prevails over practical knowledge.

The current system of education in the field of information technology leaves much to be desired. When a non-programmer teaches programming and the curriculum is completely outdated, this is critical for an IT student. The university graduates is a person who is unfit for real work for their position.

Training of an IT specialist may be short-term. This training should focus more on getting the necessary skills, because changes in the industry happen very quickly and do not leave time to learn all the basics of any technology. An internship with an employer under the" supervision» mentor allows you to quickly develop the skills of an IT specialist and increase knowledge in this field. A year of internship makes it possible to be considered a beginner specialist, equal in level of knowledge and experience with a graduate of the best technical university. This means that within a year you can complete a course that lasts four years at the university. It is in the IT industry that employers have stopped looking at the availability of a higher education diploma for almost five years.

The IT field is always in search of qualified specialists. Salaries are high, tasks are interesting, you can work remotely or freelance, but you can't get all this just for your good look. You need to learn, gain experience and fill your portfolio. The future specialist should learn to work with information, be engaged in self-development and find time for practice. Higher IT education can be effective only if the student is interested in the profession. The university can become the basis that you can use to build your career. If you want to learn some new technologies in a short time, then hardly higher special education is the right way.
