This project presents the engineering activities of a paid car park in terms of a systematic approach and the requirements of business engineering.
Subject area
Subject area - is a set of properties and relations which are considered in scientific theory [1]
A parking lot (American English) or car park (British English), also known as a car lot, is a cleared area that is intended for parking vehicles.
A car (or automobile) - is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transportation.
Every single day there are more and more cars, parking lots in the modern world are a must, otherwise, cars will create a huge inconvenience for pedestrians.
1.1. System Requirements
The main requirements in the relationship between the customer are:
Quality
Stability
Speed
The main requirements in the relationship between management and staff are:
Correct labor rate
Prioritization (quality is more important than the amount of work done)
Bonuses for good workers
Providing a pleasant working environment for comfortable work
1.2. Root processes
General scheme of root processes is shown in picture 1. Root processes are shown in picture 2
Vehicle Security
Car wash (extra charge)
Polishing vehicles (extra charge)
Charging the battery (extra charge)
Engineering
Learning customers desires
Collecting and putting into use valuable information
Procurement
Implementing work
Transferring the object into operation

2. System Activities review
2.1. Characteristics of the object and the systems activities
Systems activity – giving territory to park your car and getting paid for it. Also, you can get extra services, such as washing your car, charging its battery and so on.
Service - the action of helping or doing work for someone.
- a system supplying a public need such as transport, communications, or utilities such as electricity and water.
Cost – the amount of money needed to buy, do or make something.
System life cycle — these are stages, which cover various states of the system, starting from the moment it becomes necessary and ending with its complete dismissal
2.2. Minimum services provided by a parking lot
Car security
Clean parking spots
Comfortable location
Easy drive-in
Comfortable arrangement for easy parking
Cameras on the parking lot
2.3. Optimal services provided by a parking lot
Everything that goes into minimum services
Washing car
Charging battery
Polishing car

2.4. Project Breakdown Structure – PBS
Project Breakdown Structure – PBS - this is a hierarchical breakdown of the entire product that must be performed to achieve the objectives of the project, this model considers the general project plan [2]. Shown in picture 4.
Picture 4 - Project Breakdown Structure
2.5. Work Breakdown Structure – WBS
Work Breakdown Structure - it is a hierarchical breakdown of all the work that needs to be done to achieve the goals of the project, broken into smaller operations and actions to a level where the actions are clear and the corresponding work can be evaluated and planned [3] . Shown in picture 5.
