How to create a “tasty” world? The world itself includes streets to walk along, buildings to live in, parks and squares to rest and enjoy our lives. To make the world a better place, it’s necessary for a person to acquire a taste.

Taste is a part of our sensory system and is formed from the very first minutes of our birth. As a rule children are born in a hospital with empty white walls instead of a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Even little changes in design, like one-ton furniture of pleasant blue color, are able to vary and decorate the interior making it cozy.

Walking along the streets of a city and then going outside the city center, we’ll see the same picture of a residential area: prefabricated housing or new ordinary multi-storied buildings. It’s of great importance whether to live in a Brezhnev-era apartment or in a house with beautiful architectural forms.

Exquisite facades of buildings on Nevsky Prospect, cathedrals and museums of indescribable beauty are architectural landmarks of the cultural capital of Russia – St. Petersburg . But luxury and wealth of the central part of the city change into somber atmosphere of bedroom suburbs.

On the outskirts of Moscow new houses which also look very monotonous are starting up. Sometimes, modern architects, trying to follow the latest fashion, erect skyscrapers in completely inappropriate places. Considering each building of the Moscow International Business Center separately, it’s certain beautiful. But the entire composition looks very inharmonious against the background of familiar and beloved Moscow.

Evaluating the recent construction of our town, the residential complex «Taneevo Park» is worth speaking about. The project was envisaged as luxury apartments with panoramic windows and a magnificent view of the city. In my opinion, the complex doesn’t blend into the landscape.

The main problem of modern architecture is the desire of builders to expand housing at minimum expenses. Taking into account that there are a lot of vacant houses, the number of apartments can be reduced and leftover funds could be used for creating something worthwhile and «tasty». To make buildings look «delicious», it is necessary to have aspirations for real beauty, to respect architectural heritage and provide harmonious incorporation of structures into surroundings.

I think that kindergartens and schools should cultivate a taste for beauty from childhood. Recently kindergartens have begun to be rebuilt. Nowadays new bright and interesting colors are used for facades. Even these small changes, which have turned a gray brick structure into a beautiful building, will make children excited to go to a kindergarten.

To make a building look «tasty» there is a recipe for success. Beautiful appearance of a building, high ceilings, exquisite interior and a pinch of creativity will turn your project into a «gourmet dish».
