Massachusetts Institute of Technology is a private university and research center located in Cambridge, Massachusetts State, USA. It is one of the most famous institutes of technology in USA and in the world. MIT was officially registered in Massachusetts State in 1861. William Barton Rogers is the founder and the first president of MIT. He had been working for a long time on creating a higher education institution which completely devoted to training scientific and technical specialists.

Now MIT taking a leading positions in prestigious ratings, being an innovator in fields of robotics, and artificial intelligence. According to U.S. News & World Report, known for its ranking system of national universities, its educational programs, programs in the field of information technology, economics, physics, chemistry, and mathematics recognized as the best in the country. The university also known in other fields such as management, economics, linguistics, philosophy, and political science.

MIT is the largest science-research structure (from unaffiliated to commercial organizations) for military research orders in the world (in 2014, expenditures from the institute’s budget for military R&D amounted to $ 961 million).
