Nowdays, in case to the increase in prices for fuel resources, automakers offer buyers electric vehicles. Electric car is a car, which is based on an electric engine. As a rule, this type of engines do not produce harmful emissions, which positively affects the ecology of the Earth.

The aim of current research is to choose the most optimal type of vehicle (petrol, diesel, hybrid, electric) by comparing the cost of its service.

To achieve this aim, we had to solve the following tasks:

To select cars with various types of engines.

Assess vehicle such indicators: toxicity, dealership price and e.t.c

To rate all cars.

Give recommendations for further development of electric transport.

Object of research: electric car-Nissan Leaf, also - cars with internal combustion engines: BMW 320, BMW 320d, Toyota Prius.

Subject of research: Comparison of the cost of service of cars.

Hypothesis: if an electric car better than cars with internal injection, it can be assumed that a mass transfer of people to electric cars is possible.

The car is an integral part of modern life. People are ready to spend a lot of money to buy a car. However, each car owner agrees to reduce the cost of annual service of the vehicle.

In our research, the annual service cost of each of the selected vehicles is calculated by the formula:

С = С₁ + С₂ + С₃ + С₄ + С₅ + С₆,

где:

С - the cost of fuel(electricity)

С2 – the cost of insurance

С3 – the cost of additional insurance

С4 - transport tax

С5 – technical service

С6 – the cost of winter tires

We also calculated a factor as "price per kilometer", with an average annual trip in Russia of 16700 km.

However, not everything is so simple. Such an item of expenditure as fuel costs depends on the price of gasoline in the region and on the climate in which the car is located. For comparison, we took Tyumen (moderately cold), Moscow (moderate) and Krasnodar (moderately warm).

Despite the relatively low cost of ownership, in Tyumen, and in General in Russia, people refuse from buying an electric car. For the wider distribution of electric vehicles, it is necessary to develop a wide network of electric stations and reduce the cost of acquisition. At least, the implementation of these two points will increase the demand for the purchase of electric cars in Russia. One thing is for sure: for electric cars – the future.
