Relevance:

The active introduction of information technology in the educational process of a university is due not only to the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards (objective reality), but also to subjective factors determined by the cognitive functions of the new generation of students. Electronic textbooks, multimedia lectures, educational films and educational complexes, testing in real time, lectures in the format of a webinar are traditional when studying cytology.

Targets and goals:

The main objective of this project is to create an interactive 3D model of a biological animal cell. A cell model should be designed so that information about each of its organoids is displayed when you click on the corresponding button.

Formation of the bachelor's competence in the direction of training 12.03.04 "Biotechnical systems and technologies" profile "Biotechnical and medical devices and systems" includes readiness to participate in carrying out medical and biological, environmental and scientific and technical research using technical tools of information technologies and methods processing results (PC-2) FSES(Federal State Educational Standards)№216 of 03.12.2015, which, among other things, requires the study of the discipline "Biology of humans and animals with the basics of bionics". One of the sections of this discipline is cytology, the biological object of study is the cell. The goal and practical significance of our work is to create a 3D model of a eukaryotic cell. The work was done thanks to the main program for 3D modeling 3D Builder from Microsoft Windows 10, and the interactive application was designed based on a platform for creating Unity 3D applications.

In preparing this material the textbook in biology was used [1]. Figure 1 shows the working model of the eukaryotic cell.

Figure 1. Model of eukaryotic cell

In this picture we tried to identify the structural elements of the cell.

Membrane separates the contents of any cell from the external environment, ensuring its integrity, controls the exchange between the cell and the external environment.

Vacuole is responsible for accumulation of ions and maintaining turgor (turgor pressure).

Nucleolus - formation of ribosomal subunits.

Ribosomes are associated with protein synthesis in the cell, i.e., translation process.

Nucleus - synthesis of ribosomal RNA.

Chromatin turns into chromosomes in the process of cell division.

Golgi apparatus - sorting and modification of proteins.

Nuclear pore - lipid bilayer surrounding the nucleus in eukaryotic cells.

Endoplasmic reticulum - the smallest channels and cavities of the wall, which are a kind of membrane, smooth and rough.

Peroxisomes contain enzymes involved in redox reactions.

Mitochondria where an oxygen phase of respiration occurs.

Cytoplasm provides interaction with all other cellular structures. It is divided into ectoplasm (outer layer) and endoplasm (inner layer). It is responsible for metabolic processes.

Lysosomes fulfill a function of cellular digestion.

Conclusion:

At this stage the main elements of the model are designed and a brief description is compiled, accessible and understandable for a wide range of users.
