The church of the Holy Rosary in Vladimir was built in neogothic style and represents a single architectural ensemble. The authors of the project are the provincial architects A. P. Afanasyev and I. O. Karabutov.

The church is a rectangular single nave hall church without a transept. Outside the temple there is a memorial plaque with brief information about the church. Above the main entrance in the middle of the main facade there is a tower-bell with a spire that crowns the cross. This part of the building forms a small narthex with choirs in the upper open gallery and service rooms.

On the one side of the building a rectangular apse is attached to the temple - the most important part of the church forming the presbytery in which the altar is located. There are relics of St. Anthony the Great, St. Martyr Barbara, St. Felix from Kantaliche, St. Andrei Boboli and the blessed Mary-Angels Trushkovskaya in the altar. On the front wall of the apse there is a round window under which a crucifix written in the encaustic technique by an orthodox priest and icon painter Andrei Davydov is located. To the right of the altar there is the pulpit, to the left is the font.

The Catholic parish of Vladimir was founded in 1891 and included the Poles. At the same time permission was obtained from the city authorities to acquire a plot of land and build a chapel not far from the Golden Gate. Construction began in 1892 and was completed in the first months of 1894. In the same year the chapel was consecrated as a branch of the Nizhny Novgorod parish in the name of the Mother of God - the Queen of the Holy Rosary. In 1904 an autonomous parish of Vladimir was established which at the beginning of the 20th century exceeded 1000 people. The consecrated chapel received parish status which allowed the church to keep its own metric books. In 1910 the number of Catholics in Vladimir reached 1500 people.

After the revolution in 1917 the temple was still functioning but the number of parishioners began to decline. On December 25, 1930 on the feast of the Nativity of Christ according to the Gregorian calendar the authorities decided to liquidate the Roman Catholic Church in Vladimir. Soon the temple was closed and its bell tower had been used as a radio repeater for a long time.

The revival of the Catholic Church in Vladimir began in the early 1990s. In 1992 the Vladimir Catholic community was officially registered. After the restoration work on July 24, 1993 the church was consecrated again. In 2009 renovation work was carried out in the altar of the church and Archbishop Paolo Pezzi consecrated the presbytery and altar of the church located in the apse.

Today the church has more than 200 Catholic believers. The church regularly holds worship services, courses of catechism and concerts of church music. There is also a bookshop with religious literature.
