In this work we will consider influence of thermal power plant on the environment.
The problem of decrease in emissions of oxides of nitrogen of thermal power plant is seriously considered since the end of the 60th years. Now the certain experience is on this matter already accumulated. It is possible to call the following methods:
1) reduction of coefficient of excess of air (it is so possible to achieve decrease in content of oxides of nitrogen by 25-30%, having reduced coefficient of excess of air
with 1,15 - 1,20 to 1,03);
2) destruction of oxides to nontoxical components.
For reduction of concentration of the polluting connections in a ground layer of air boiler thermal power plants equip high, up to 100-200 and more meters, with chimneys. But it leads also to increase in the area of their dispersion. As a result large industrial centers form the polluted areas tens long, and at steady wind – in hundreds of kilometers [1].
It is undoubted that in the short term the thermal power will remain prevailing in power balance of the world and the certain countries. The probability of increase in a share of coals and other types of less pure fuel in obtaining energy is high. These ways are based generally on improvement of technologies of preparation of fuel and catching of the polluting.
There is a wish to finish the report with Goethe's words: "The nature doesn't recognize jokes. It is always truthful, is always serious, is always strict. She is always right. Mistakes and delusions proceed from people".
