Ufa State Aviation Technical University that train engineers in research, design, and production technology of piloted and unpiloted aircraft, their engines, radio systems, and aviation instrument-making; these institutes also train engineer-economists for the aviation industry.

Especially for students at the university open day, which organizes the heads of the university in order to familiarize the future of their students with information related to the entry and training. Also on this day will be an opportunity to meet with staff from the faculty of the university and inspect infrastructure, which includes several academic buildings.

1. Specialty

The main specialties of aviation institutes are airplane construction, helicopter construction, aircraft engines, aircraft instrument construction, and aircraft electrical equipment.

Ufa State Aviation Technical University is one of the foremost aviation technical universities in the Russian Federation. The University is known both nationally an internationally for its science schools and has an extensive network of creative and scientific links with world-famous universities.

Ufa State Aviation Technical University was founded in 1932. It is a large scientific and educational complex, one of leading higher educational institutions of Russia. There are 18 areas of study and 40 programs in its 7 Faculties.

More than 6000 students study at the university.The number of departments is 43. The total number of teaching faculty is more than 650, of these 30 are Russian and foreign Academies of Sciences Full Members.

Ufa State Aviation Technical University provides training of foreign students, post-graduates and probationers in all areas and specialities available at the University.

There is a preparatory department for those who do not know Russian. This department is aimed at teaching the Russian language to foreigners, to adapt them to the environmental conditions and thus to further their active involvement into the educational process. Such a form of students training as “incorporated training” is widely used at the university.

1. Library

Ufa State Aviation Technical University library is one of the biggest in the Republic. Its universal fund (as to subjects covered) amounts about 1 mln pieces. Yearly it serves about 10000 readers, about 700 thousand books, journals and other materials are given to those, working and studying here.

6)Sports complex of the University

Sports complex of the University includes several rooms for sports, wrestling, athletic gymnastics, boxing and other sports, shooting range, rented a swimming pool and stadium, a number of outdoor sports grounds. Training sessions are held with students on 35 sports. University students and employees in the vacation and Sundays can relax in the sports camp "Agidel", located on the bank of the Belaya River, as well as at the tourist camp "Aviator" at the Pavlovsk Reservoir.

7)Purpose Ufa State Aviation Technical University

According to the rector of the university Murat Guzairova strategic goal USATU the next 10 years is its transformation into a research university. In this case the institution will follow the basic principles - preservation of academic traditions and academic base of the university, the development of fundamental and applied research, innovation, advanced training of elite specialists based on the integration of education and research in the most promising areas of expertise.
