My paper is aimed at exploring the life and creative activities of the great English street graffiti artist Banksy.

Banksy is one of the outstanding representatives of british painting, who lived in XX centuries. He was especially famous unique style of graffiti.

In my paper I’m going to touch upon the following points:

• The main stages and events of his life

• The main periods of Turner’s creative activities

• The main pictures and where exhibition

My paper is accompanied by a power-point presentation which consist of 25 PC slides, of 15 illustration, of my speech, of 15 questions on the theme suggested.

My work was listened and approved of university class at 23th of December .

My paper is supposed to be used in the course of teaching English as a foreign language. It may be used at classes of practical English for university spectiolary in linguistics, museum study.

Banksy is a street artist, political activist, film director, and painter. Although his identity has not been proven, reliable sources report that he is believed to be Robin Gunningham, a former public schoolboy.

Banksy’s work grew out of the Bristole underground sence, which involved collaborations between artists and musicians. Observers have noted that his style is similar to Blek le Rat, who began to work with stencils in 1981 in Paris. Banksy says that he was inspired by "3D", a graffiti artist who later became a founding member of Massive Attack
